LWF Pre-Assembly Youth Conference 2010
Arrival
All participants should arrive on 10 July 2010 in Dresden.
Departure and travel to Stuttgart
The group is going to depart together by bus to Stuttgart for the assembly on 17 July. While the stewards already start working, the young delegates will stay until 19 July with German families.
Meeting places
There are three houses for the meetings:
Wechselbad: That is a theater and culture center. The plenary will take place and in
addition to that, we have two more big rooms. The lobby for the coffee breaks is spacious and has direct access to a terrace W 1 (Plenary session); W 2; W 3; W Lobby
Jugendherberge (=Youth Hostel): All participants are going to sleep there. The hostel has 8 meeting rooms for up to 25 participants for small group meetings. (J1-8)
St. Annenkirche: The church will be the place for morning and evening prayer.

Internet-Access
There are terminals in the Jugendherberge. There is no Internet Access in the meeting rooms.
Dresden Weather
July offers the warmest temperatures, with highs around 30°C and lows of about 15°C. July is also one of the wettest months of the year on average.
Vaccination and travel medecine
There are no special vaccinations recommended for Germany apart from those that are important to have everywhere. Please check with your doctor whether all your vaccinations are up-to-date.
Voltage and plug in Germany
Electricity in Germany is 230 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. If you travel to Germany with a device that does not accept 230 Volts at 50 Hertz, you will need a voltage converter.
Outlets in Germany generally accept 1 type of plug:

If your appliances plug has a different shape, you may need a plug adapter.
