e seu trabalho todos vão valorizar

A raça negra, a maioria deste chão

na nova terra o Palmares renascido

In the new land the black people will not have chains,
and our indigenous people will be recognized as people.
In the new land the black, the indigenous and the mulatto,
the white and everyone will eat from the same plate.

In the new land, women will have rights,
will not suffer humiliation and prejudice
Everybody will value their work

In the decisions they will participate.
The blacks, the majority of this land
still seeks for the abolition of slavery
in this new land the Palmares (a refuge community for escaped slaves) will reborn
